Minimum field
Eight players are needed for the league to go ahead.
Who can score?
At least one BGS member per team. Only participating BGS members earn league points. The opposing BGS member need not be participating.
Eight matches, exactly
Play eight, no more and no less. Complete all eight to rank ahead of anyone who does not.
Before the first tee
State your partner, opponents, handicaps and course.
One mulligan each
Tee shots only. Breakfast balls count.
Gross birdie bonus
Hole out your birdie putt. Gimmes count only inside the two foot BGS limit. A concession is final, but you may finish the hole for the bonus. Birdies still count after your match ends.
Finding a match
BGS will try to book four ball slots a couple of times per week and post availability on WhatsApp. Other BGS events may count when match play is permitted. The table is updated weekly.
