The society's first Annual Tour. Phuket set the template every tour since has tried to live up to. Five courses in one trip, from the cliffside dragon views at Laguna to the tight, technical layout at Blue Canyon. Long days on the course, longer nights everywhere else. This is the standard every destination gets measured against now.

The most recent tour, played across Antalya's coast in May 2026. The biggest group BGS has ever taken on tour, and the all-inclusive format meant the golf never really stopped, it just moved from the course to wherever the night ended up. Drinks from breakfast onward, late nights that turned into later mornings, and always something happening.

What is The Bogey Golf Society?
The Bogey Golf Society, or BGS, is a members-only social golf society based in Dubai. It organises monthly competitions, social events and international golf tours.
Where does BGS play golf?
BGS events are played at golf courses across the United Arab Emirates. The society also runs international tours, with past destinations including Phuket, Costa de Prata and Antalya, and a Muscat mini-tour scheduled for November 2026.

Membership includes access to BGS events, the annual international tour, handicap based competitions, annual BGS merchandise and the society's playing community.
How do I apply to join BGS?
Complete the membership application on this website with your contact details and handicap index. Membership is subject to committee approval, and BGS says applicants will hear back within five working days.
When is the BGS 2026 to 2027 season?
The published season calendar runs from September 2026 to June 2027 and includes monthly golf events, majors, social events and Order of Merit competitions.

BGS membership is by application. We are a members-only society that is small enough so that everyone knows your name, large enough for a proper competition.
